More than Friends 2

Today’s episode will make more sense to you if you’ve read the earlier installment, More than Friends. I see myself as a diplomat on these matters and I think I should talk to the other party too. The ones usually on the receiving end of a request of “more than friendship”, my sisters.

While the first episode of more than friends will do you a lot of good as the counsel given there would be needed on both side of the divide; letting time test those feelings and knowing that that friendship might never remain the same again remains worthy of note.

I’ve not been around this planet for a very long time, but I can tell you from careful study, that there are more females with guys who know them better and consequently will treat them better, who only see these guys as the ones they complain about the crazy partner to.

And while I understand the fears of people in this demographic, the fear of losing a close friend because you let the relationship move beyond being platonic. But to this seeming brick wall of a question, I respond with this line of questioning, who would you rather be with? Someone who you’ve known without the cloak of perfection the average ‘suitor’ approaches you with, or someone you’re just getting to meet?

I mean, like the concluding thought of the previous episode, I reiterate that there are no guarantees. But I’ve heard the saying go around that the devil you know is better than the angel you’re yet to meet. And for the first time, I’ll pose that question to you

Who do you choose?

The devil you know or the angel you don’t?
